The Safety beam sensor is an important and indispensable role in the automatic door system, protecting the pedestrians and pets from being pinched and injured. This dual set infrared beam safety sensor is widely used in the automatic door safety presence auxiliary function, can accurately detect the door opening signal provided by people or things to the automatic door, so as to avoid the hidden danger of automatic door safety.

Wiring & Indicator

Indicator light definition:

1, TX: emitting fault indicator light. The first emitting fault (short circuit, open circuit) indicator light flashes. Flash 3 times per second. Second beam emission fault (short circuit, open circuit) indicator light flashes slowly.

2, POWER: when in standby state, red light is always on, when in the action state, the green light indicator is flashes.

3, RX: receiving fault indicator light: the first beam of receiving short-circuit fault, the indicator light flashes three times per second. When the second beam of receiving short circuit fault, it will be flashes slowly all the time.

Q: Are there any precautions when installing the M-618 sensor?

A: This sensor have single set and dual sets can be choose, The installation height of single light beams is 60cm from the ground; The installation height of double light beams, one sets beams should be 30cm from the ground, the second sets beams should be 90cm from the ground. And the maximum distance between the transmitting light beam and the receiving light beam is 10 meters.
