Motion & Anti-pinch Access Solution for Street-Facing Automatic Door

1. Challenges in Installation:

Dynamic environments factors with high pedestrian traffic, like moving vehicles, and variable weather conditions, all may lead to detect unintended objects. And the positioning limitations of the sensor itself, such as sensors require precise tilt angles and installation heights, and clean detection zones to avoid detecting swinging doors or distant movements .

2. Causes of False Triggers (Self-Activation):

Moving vehicles, swaying objects, heat sources, sunlight, electromagnetic signal interference and other environmental noises may all cause false triggers to the sensor.

Perfect motion and presence access solution for the automatic door facing the street.

Use Hybrid Sensors: Combine microwave radar and IR to reduce false negatives .

Install Auxiliary Safeguards: Add edge-mounted contact sensors or non-contact laser scanners for redundancy .

CANBO M-507X Motion & Safety Infrared Combo Sensor with Hand Wave to Open

This sensor is specially designed for the street-facing automatic door, motion and presence safety function are based on infrared technology. It can be used for both activation and anti-pinch functions simultaneously. And when the sensor is in the STREET MODE, the sensing range is adjustable from 8 to 17CM. When a person approaches the automatic door and raises their hand towards the door leaf, the door will open automatically. Pedestrians and traffic passing by will not interfere or cause accidental activation.

As the auxiliary function sensor, we also have some models options:

CANBO M-218D Safety Beam Sensor

CANBO M-905 Laser Safety Sensor
